Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Due to neighborhood restrictions, reservations may only be booked more than 3 days, or 72 hours, prior to arrival. Guests must complete an information form for the Hound Ears neighborhood upon booking, and the reservation will be approved based on the form.
Property Access
- Paved driveway for up to 4 vehicles. Only 1 step to enter.
- Motorcycles are strictly prohibited inside the Hound Ears community.
- Rental guests cannot access any Hound Ears Club amenities or buildings, including golf, pool, tennis, or the restaurant; as per Club rules updated in late 2023.
Policies and Rules
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Children allowed.
- Minimum age: 25 years.
- No events allowed.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- Maximum occupancy: 9 guests.
Fees and Payments
- This home is pet friendly and allows up to 2 mature well trained dogs for each stay. Pet rent is $25+tax per pet per night. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Firewood for the indoor woodburning fireplace may be purchased with at least one week (7 day) advance notice. Firewood is $25/nt for 2 bundles of wood + 1 firestarter plus tax and will be delivered to the home for you.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Parking Information
- Paved driveway for up to 4 vehicles.
- Motorcycles are strictly prohibited inside the Hound Ears community.
- Free parking is provided.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- TVs are streaming only.
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
- There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided.
- Climate control is included.
- High-speed internet is available.
- Clothes washing machine and dryer are available.
- Cooking basics, cooking space, and stove are provided.
- Ice-maker and BBQ grill are available.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are installed.
- We do not provide hair dryers.
- Rental guests cannot access any Hound Ears Club amenities or buildings, including golf, pool, tennis, or the restaurant; as per Club rules updated in late 2023.
Safety and Emergency Information
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. The road leading to this home is paved with a paved driveway. Hound Ears Property Services treats and removes snow during any inclement winter weather event. Use caution when traveling during inclement weather as icy spots may be present. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
